    Thank you for the review! I like Pilot pens a lot, and find maki-e beautiful. However i probably would not buy that pen. I’d save up for a raden. 🙂 I appreciate the opportunity to get a “look” at this pen, so thank you to De Roos for lending it as well.

    I have one of these with a medium nib. There are some pens that simply feel right in your hand, with perfect balance and a perfect nib. For me, this is one of those pens. I keep it inked with Iroshizuku Yama-guri. Thanks for the nice review.

    Do I like the look of the pen? Yes, definitely. Would I buy it? Not really; seems to be more piece of art than practical pen for everyday usage.
