Support My Work Through Patreon

I have decided to open an account at Patreon.  I’d never heard of that website, but Matt at the PenHabit attended me to it.  The Patreon system is fairly simple: you can make a pledge for $1 for every video I upload, and after a month, Patreon will bill you.  This way, you can support my work, because your donations allow me to purchase more pens to review.  Furthermore, I can use the donations to invest in better equipment (I’m in dire need of a better microphone, for example).

Bear in mind that currently, I have quite some costs to cover: I have to pay for web hosting, I buy pens to review.  Companies send me pens to review, which I often give away – and where some reviewers on YouTube (not necessarily in the pen community) either restrict giveaways to the country they live in, or ask winners of their giveaways to pay for shipping, I pay the shipping on all the pens I give away – and international mail is not cheap.  And of course, my videos can be viewed by anyone without having to pay a fee.

So, in no way am I complaining: I love doing what I do!  However, if you feel like helping me out by donating just $1 for every video I upload, that would really allow me to continue to upload content.

If you want to make a pledge through the Patreon system, go here and sign up.  Thanks a lot in advance!
